Nighttime
Diversions
For
a small island, Anguilla has a number of nightlife
options and musical entertainment to offer its visitors.
Classical pianists and guitarists, a quiet saxophone,
reggae, steel drum and calypso bands are just a few
options. What We Do in Anguilla and Anguilla Life
list 'what, where and when' for night owls. These
publications are available from the Anguilla Tourist
Board and most properties.
Many
resorts and hotels offer nightly entertainment and
an incredibly romantic ambience of candle light, moonlight
and the music of a classical pianist, guitarist or
one of Anguilla's acclaimed reggae, soca, steel drum
or calypso bands.
Local
hot spots offer an opportunity to dance barefoot to
Caribbean tunes that move your body and shake your
soul. Generally, Sandy Ground is the "Hotspot"
on Fridays and Saturdays, while Sundays and Wednesdays
the crowds move to Shoal Bay East. There is music
and entertainment almost every night of the week somewhere
on the island.
