Off the beach you will find some of the Caribbean’s finest tennis courts for day and night play, horseback riding along the coastline, hikes to caves or to the world’s most unexpected rainforest, art gallery and museum hopping, and birdwatching just to name a few. Take an island tour from one of our knowledgeable taxi drivers or rent a car or bike and explore Anguilla on your own.

Nearly every activity that is available on Anguilla can be arranged for you through your hotel concierge. Amenities and tours not directly available at your place of stay are almost always available to you.

 

 

 

Tennis

Horseback Riding

Hiking

Hiking can be arranged to almost any island to point of interest. Gavannah Cave at Katouche Bay, a visit to the island’s minute rainforest, bird watching hikes and island salt ponds walks are an excellent way to get acquainted with Anguilla’s interior.

Museums and Art Galleries

Visitors can take a guided tour of the island’s art galleries and studios, arranged through Savannah Gallery, 264-497-2263.The Anguilla National Trust Museum, 264-497- 5297, in the Valley has an educational display of some of the island’s natural, archeological and historical assets.The Heritage Museum, in East End Village, is a well organized collection of historical items, documents and photographs that trace the island’s history.Tours of the Old Salt Factory and Pumphouse at Sandy Ground are available on Thursdays at 10AM by appointment. This tour covers this once important island industry, the salt pond and the history of the Anguilla salt industry. Biking

Biking is an excellent way to see the island. Some hotels offer bicycles to guests, but bikes can be rented from approximately $10 per day and scooters are also available (See Getting Around).
