Island icon Bankie Banx’s Dune Preserve is an island hotspot day and night. The restaurant’s menu features seafood, soups and salads. At night, the action moves immediately over to the Planet Dune Nightclub, a treehouse of sorts, where live music regularly happens on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights. Bankie often graces the stage himself, accompanied by a number of local and international artists and famous friends. The restaurant is open Tuesday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to sunset. Planet Dune rises at 9 p.m. and sets some time before the sun comes up.

A few feet away from the white sands of Shoal Beach sits Elodias. This beachside grill serves up sandwhiches, salads and seafood fresh off the grill. For dessert, don’t shy away from ice cream, cheese cake, or other creations that are available. Live music on most weekends during the season.

Based at Sandy Ground, with service available on Prickley Pear, Johnno’s is a classic Caribbean beach bar famous for its late night music and delicious seafood selection - much of which is caught by the proprietor himself and prepared by Chef Wesley Thompson.

Koko’s is a friendly, family run restaurant that specializes in fresh seafood aside delicious drinks that get you dancing. Local reggae bands regularly grace the stage.

Open from 11 to 11 every day, Oriental Restaurant offers an outstanding selection of Chinese creations. Sit down dining is available at the bar and a number of tables, however many prefer to grab their food to go.

Near the airport, Pedro’s Grill and Juice bar serves up delicious food typical of Anguilla with quick service.

Located in the historic, old salt factory at Sandy Ground, The Pumphouse is described by some as a ‘rocking roadhouse.’ An American grill restaurant, it is known for live music, good service and great value. The Pumphouse provides good times and enjoyable evenings for all merry-makers, and it’s not uncommon to “bump” into a few celebrities while out on the dance floor.

Offering excellent food and a great atmosphere, Ripples is a lively spot where everyone regularly joins in the conversation, and if they stay long enough, a dart competition. Caribbean and international dishes served.

Located in George Hill, close to the capital, this roadside restaurant offers delicious homemade roti. Eat in or take out.

Seasand restaurant, is the newborn of internationally  known chef Dale Carty. Dale is the chef-owner of famous Tasty’s restaurant since 1999. He is now expanding and bringing is delicious food to the Beach. Smokey’s, a relaxing beachside bistro, is the latest offering by noted island restaurateurs Alan and Lisa Gumbs. Diners can work up their appetite during the day with a game of a volleyball on the beach overlooking Cove Cay. When it’s time to head inside, they’re greeted by a charming interior decorated with colorful hammocks and masterful culinary creations. At night, the restaurant transforms into an intimate bistro for romantics, complete with tiki torches, candles, fine china and linen. The restaurant is right on the beach and there are no signs. Don’t be afriad to ask directions. You don’t want to miss this one.
