The Caribbean island of Anguilla is offering an array of summer rates and special packages at numerous resorts, which range from five-star hotels to private guesthouses, making Anguilla the perfect summer getaway.

Anguilla Great House Beach Resort, located on spectacular Rendezvous Bay, a 2 ½ mile crescent of dazzling white sand fringed by the turquoise Caribbean Sea, is an intimate and romantic hideaway, offering luxury and style in a very private and uncrowded atmosphere. With 35 intimate guest rooms, Anguilla Great House is offering All-inclusive Summer rates up to December 18, 2002 in a Garden View Room - $170 per person; Ocean View Room - $180 per person. All prices are based on double occupancy, and include 3 meals daily, unlimited beverages, airport transfer, Scuba lessons, water sports, nightly entertainment and 20 % government tax and service charge.

Rendezvous Bay Hotel, located on the shores of tranquil Rendezvous Bay, is offering special summer room rates, which range from $90 - $175 per night. These rates are valid April 1 through December 14, 2002. All rates are subject to a 10% service charge and government tax.

During the summer months, Shoal Bay Villas is offering a Relaxation and Renewal package for either four or seven nights featuring luxurious pampering spa treatments in the privacy of your own villa. The four-night package, priced at $930 per couple, includes accommodations in an Oceanfront Villa, one Sea Spa Body Glow Treatment, one Honey Almond Body Wrap, two 30-minute relaxation massages and two Mini-Facials. The seven-night package, priced at $1590 per couple, includes a stay in an Oceanfront Villa, two one-hour Relaxation Massages, one Sea Spa Body Glow treatment, one Honey Almond Body Wrap, two one-hour Renewal Facials. Prices include 10% service and 10% government tax.

From April 1-15, Covecastles, located on Shoal Bay West, is offering super discounted rates. A four-bedroom Grand Villa goes fort $1495 instead of $2995, a three-bedroom Villa for $825 instead of the usual $1295 per night, and a two-bedroom Beach House can be yours for just $625 instead of $995 per night. Beginning April 16, Covecastles will offer Summer Dream packages for stays in their Beach House. The packages are priced at $3600 for a seven-night stay per couple, or $5425 for a seven-night, four-person accommodation.

From April 15 through December 15, Allamanda Beach Club, located on magnificent Shoal Bay Beach, is offering per night rates ranging from $87 for a Ground Floor Studio unit to $165 for a Deluxe King unit. All rates include government and service tax. In addition, Allamanda is offering a seventh night free to guests staying at least 6 nights. All rooms are equipped with kitchens, bathrooms and private patios offering panoramic views of the ocean and the 2-mile stretch of beach.

Madeariman Beach Club, a small-intimate five-room hotel, is also situated on beautiful Shoal Bay. Summer rates run from $125 for a Beach Studio to $175 for a Beach Suite. Both rates are based on double occupancy and are subject to a 10% service charge and 10% government tax. A one-week stay includes two free breakfasts per guest at Madeariman Reef Restaurant.

From May to October, (closed during the month of September) Carimar Beach Club located on the beach of stunning Meads Bay, is offering summer specials from $140 to $210 per night for a Beach View Room and $170 to $240 for a beach front one or two bedroom unit. Carimar invites all guests to swim, snorkel, dive, fish, windsurf, sail or scuba, which are all, offered at or can be arranged through the hotel.

Cap Juluca is offering The Great Escape from May 1- November 15, 2002. Escape to tranquility and perfection with the finest beach front accommodations, caressed by cooling trade winds and ideal daytime temperatures. Room rates range from $325 for a Superior Room to $500 for Junior Suites and include complimentary amenities such as daily continental breakfast served on your private covered terrace, afternoon tea, all water sports, two tennis clinics weekly, health club, resort fresh water pool, nightly movie and croquet.
