Buju Banton, whose fusion of traditional roots rock, contemporary R&B and dancehall DJ'ing have earned him status as one of the most popular musicians in Jamaican history, will headline what has become one of the Caribbean’s best-known and most-loved festivals. A mix of reggae, funk, folk and jazz, the lineup also includes Anthony B, The Roots & Herbs, Alana Davis, Joshua and Joanne Williams. Bankie Banx and the All Star Band, reggae guitar legend Cat Coore, bass virtuoso Benjy Myaz, pianist Onaje Allan Gumbs, drummer Tony Ruptom and keyboardist Ahs Hodge - will provide an amazing mix of music power. The musical feast will also see Bankie Banx reunited with The Roots & Herbs, 30 years after they pioneered reggae music in the Eastern Caribbean. Pat McKay of Sirius Satellite Radio and Oluwakemi Linda Banks will host this year’s festival. Moonsplash
will be held at the renowned Dune Preserve, an eco-friendly beach nightclub
set on two-acres along the shores of Rendezvous Bay. Home to Bankie Banx
for almost 15 years, the venue has been described as "the coolest
place in the Caribbean" and "the region's most artistically
eclectic beach bar." The following ticket prices are for advance ticket sales and may be reserved by emailing [email protected]
