Anguilla: The Perfect Honeymoon Destination

Cap Juluca is a secluded, sophisticated and romantic retreat, located on Maundays Bay. Honeymooners and all romantics can take advantage of the "Romantic Rendezvous" program, featuring an eight-day/seven night stay from now until December 18, 2002, with the exception of September 4 - October 26, when the resort is closed. Depending on type of room and accommodation and time of year, rates range from $3585 for a superior room to $7850 for a junior suite. The plan features beachfront accommodation for two, champagne and flowers on arrival, four dinners for two at any of Cap Juluca's three restaurants or from room service, and continental breakfast daily. Also included are a sunset champagne cruise, an all day snorkeling trip to Prickly Pear with a special Cap Juluca prepared barbecue lunch and beverages, one day car rental, and taxi transfers from Anguilla's airport or the ferry. Wedding packages for couples wishing to tie the knot in this fairy tale setting are also available. Covecastles is located in a beautiful, tropical setting on Shoal Bay West. The spectacular glistening white stretch of sand and turquoise sea is the perfect place to say, "I do." A five-night "Wedding Package" priced at $3,500 per couple, includes license and ceremony on the beach with a minister, flowers, champagne and cake with one hour of music, photographer, pictures and wedding album and deluxe accommodations in a one-bedroom beach house. Daily continental breakfast, a dinner for two, roundtrip airport transfers and many beach activities such as snorkeling, sailing and biking are also included. Carimar Beach Club's honeymoon package runs from May 1st - November 15th, 2002 (closed during the month of September). With a price of $1095 per couple, this seven-night "Honeymoon Package" includes beach view accommodations, starter breakfast basket, chilled champagne, sunset cruise, car rental for 2 days, dinner for two with cocktails, fresh flowers daily and complimentary use of snorkel equipment. A $140 tax and service fee are additional. The Frangipani Beach Club, located amidst a lush tropical garden on Meads Bay, is offering a romantic "Champagne and Love" honeymoon package. This includes a seven-night stay in a one-bedroom deluxe beachfront suite, welcome champagne with strawberries and cream, daily continental breakfast served in your room, lunch each day, a romantic champagne dinner for two, a framed photo of the couple at dinner, a three-day car rental and a boat to Little Bay for snorkeling. The package is priced at $2,700. Malliouhana's "Romantic Interlude" package, available June 1 - August 31, 2002, includes a stay of four nights in a large, ocean view double room with covered terrace, a welcome bottle of Gosset French champagne, continental breakfast served daily in the room or on your own private covered terrace, a three-course dinner each evening chosen from the hotel's full a la carte menu, a daytime cruise on the hotel's 35' yacht to a deserted bay for swimming or snorkeling and a sunset cruise along the coast of Anguilla. The price for the minimum four-night 'Romantic Interlude' is $1720 per couple plus $275 for government room tax and service charge. For a longer stay, add $425 plus $70 for tax and service charge per couple per day. Paradise Cove, a secluded and restful apartment hotel situated at the western end of Anguilla is the perfect romantic setting for couples to enjoy the "Honeymoon in Paradise" package. During the winter, January to March, prices range from $1,865 for a studio to $4380 for a Super Deluxe Penthouse. In the summer, April through October, prices run from a $1,414 studio to a $2,970 Super Deluxe Penthouse. This package includes a bottle of champagne, fresh flowers upon arrival, daily continental breakfast, one dinner served in the suite, car rental daily, gourmet picnic for two, sunset cruise, a bottle of Anguilla rum and two t-shirts. This package includes seven nights in a beach villa room, large fruit basket, flowers, champagne on arrival, five-day car rental, two t-shirts from the resort's boutique and airport transfers. With tax and service charges included, winter rates (December 15 - March 31) start at $2,400 per couple with an extra night at $325, while summer rates (April 1 - December 14) start at $2,000 with an extra night at $225. Splash is a gorgeous three-bedroom private villa nestled away in a tranquil area in South Hill. The "Honeymoon Package at Splash" includes a red rose for the bride, two 30-minute deep massages, and a selection of complimentary honeymoon amenities such as massage oils, candles and other delights. The package is $2,599 plus 10% government tax per couple, per week, Dec. 15, 2001 - April 14, 2002 and $1,699 plus 10% government tax per couple per week April 15- Dec. 14, 2002. |
