Anguilla is located
in the Eastern Caribbean, just one-hour east of Puerto Rico and seven minutes north of St.
Marten. Visitors can fly directly into Anguillas Wallblake Airport from Puerto Rico
via American Eagle/American Airlines www.americanairlines.com. Visitors can also opt to fly directly from the US to St. Marten.
Anguilla is just a seven-minute flight on WINAIR, Tyden Air, LIAT or TransAnguilla or a
20-minute ferry ride from Marigot Bay or the airport to Anguillas port, Blowing
Point.

Documentation A passport is preferred, however, US and Canadian citizens may travel with an original birth certificate and official photo identification. Visitors are required to have a return or onward ticket. Green card holders must have a valid green card and valid passport from their country of origin.

Ferries Ferries are a popular way to travel between Anguilla and St. Martin. Ferries are also available for charter. Ferries depart daily from Anguilla beginning at 7:30AM approximately at regullar half hour intervals. The last day ferry departs Marigot Bay, St. Martin at 5:40PM. The day ferry costs US$10 plus $2 departure tax. There is one evening ferry that departs Anguilla at 6:15PM. The return ferry departs St. Martin at 7:00PM. Evening fare is US$12.00 plus $2 departure tax. It is also possible to travel directly to or from Juliana Airport and the Blowing Point ferry terminal with the "Link" ferryboat. Arriving By Private Boat When arriving by private boat, passengers must clear Customs and Immigration located at Blowing Point or at Road Bay (VHF Channel 16).
Pet Immigration Plan ahead. At least six months prior to your arrival on the island contact the Agricultural Department at 264-497-2615 or the island veterinarian at 264-497-4600. Only certain pets are allowed on Anguilla. Remember to check with your hotel, villa, or guesthouse and ask if pets are permitted prior to your departure.
