Getting Here
While many consider Anguilla to be off the beaten path, our idyllic island is easily accessible by air and by sea. Our island’s main gateways are Puerto Rico, St. Maarten/Martin, Antigua and St. Kitts.
From Puerto Rico, Anguilla is just a one-hour flight via American Eagle/American Airlines or Rainbow International Airlines. Or from St. Maarten/Martin, one can choose a seven-minute flight into Anguilla’s Wallblake Airport via private executive charters or on WINAIR, or take a scheduled ferry or charter from the French or Dutch sides of the island. Ferries from the French side generally operate at 30 to 45 minute intervals and take roughly 20 minutes to cross from St. Martin to Anguilla. From the Dutch side of St. Maarten, scheduled and charter services are also available.
From Antigua, LIAT provides one scheduled flight per day into Anguilla. Private air charters are also available to and from Antigua as well as various islands throughout the Caribbean, USA and beyond.

Anguilla Ferry System
Ferry to French St. Martin
The main connection from the Blowing Point Ferry Terminal is to the Marigot Port on the french side of St. Martin. The ferries run approximately every 30–45 minutes to and from Marigot, and the trip takes an average of 25 minutes. As the ferries are based in Anguilla, the first ferry departs Anguilla at 7:30 a.m. until the last ferry at 6:15 p.m. The last evening trip departs Marigot at 7:00 pm. Regular one-way fare is US$15 or EC$40 for adults and children 6 years and older. Children 2–5 years old are US$10. A US$20 or EC$53 departure tax applies to all tourists departing Anguilla through the Blowing Point Ferry Terminal. The departure tax for day trips is US$5 or EC$13. Residents of Anguilla and residents of St. Martin/St. Maarten are also subject to a US$5 departure tax through Blowing Point Ferry Terminal. Departure tax from St. Martin is US$5. Rates are subject to change.
Ferry to Dutch St. Maarten
An alternate less frequented route from the Blowing Point Ferry Terminal is the trip to Philipsburg on the dutch side of St. Maarten. The fare for this trip is US$35 or EC$93.80. Anguilla offer transfers to 7:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 pm and at any time upon request of the Princess Juliana Airport and Saint Martin Phillipsburg. The fee for this service is U.S. $ 35 per person one way or $ 60 to U.S. of return. Ferries also link a reunion, greet and transfer service from the Princess Juliana Airport to Anguilla in U.S. dollars one way or $ 50 to U.S. 85 round trip. MV Shauna VI
The MV Shauna VI is a public ferry that can be chartered privately for trips between the St. Maarten Airport, on the Dutch side of the island and Anguilla. When serving the public, and operating on its traditional schedule, the round trip cost is $60.00 for adults and $40.00 for children between 2 and 12. Special Charters are available for parties of four at a cost of $350.00. Each additional person costs an extra $25.00.

Customs
Each visitor is allowed to bring food for his or her own consumption onto the island, plus one bottle of spirits, duty free.
Arrival By Private Boat
When arriving by private boat, passengers must clear Customs and Immigration located at Blowing Point or at Road Bay (VHF Channel 16).
Pet Immigration
Plan ahead. At least six months prior to your arrival on the island contact the Agricultural Department at 264-497-2615 or the island veterinarian at 264-497-4600. Only certain pets are allowed on Anguilla. Remember to check with your hotel, villa or guesthouse and ask if pets are permitted prior to your departure.
